SACRIFICE

The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord,

How much more , when he brings it with wicked intent !  Proverb 21:27

To do righteousness and justice

Is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. Proverb 21:3

Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices,

As in obeying the vice of the Lord?

Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice,

And to heed than the fat of rams,

For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft,

And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry,   1 Samuel 15:21,22

With what shall I come before the Lord,

And bow myself before the High God?

Shall I come before Him with burnt offerings,

With calves a year old ?

Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams

Or ten thousand rivers of oil ?
Shall I give my first born for my transgression

The fruit of my body for the sin of my soul ?

               He has shown you O man , what is good;

And what does the Lord require of you

But to do justly,

To love mercy,

And to walk humbly with your God 

 The Lord’s  voice cries in the city –

Wisdom shall see your name.  Micah 6:6-9

I desire mercy and not sacrifice,

And knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

But like men they transgressed to the covenant;

They dealt treacherously with Me.   Hosea 6: 6,7

For your faithfulness is like a morning cloud,

And like the early dew it goes away . Hosea 6:4

Jeremiah 22:16,17 Was this not knowing ME 

And do justice and righteousness ?

Then it was well with him.

He judged the cause of the poor and needy;

Then it was well .

WAS NOT THIS KNOWING ME? Says the Lord.

Yet your eyes and your hearts are for nothing but your covetousness,

For shedding innocent blood,

And practicing oppression and violence.

HE IS JUST         Ezekiel 18: 1-9

What do you mean when you use the proverb :
The fathers have eaten sour grapes,

And the childrens teeth are set on edge ?

As I live, says the Lord God,

You shall no longer use this proverb in Israel,

Behold all souls are Mine;

The soul of the father

As well as the soul of the son is Mine;

The soul who sin will die.

But if a man is just

If he has not oppressed anyone,

But has restored to the debtor his pledge,

Has robbed no one by violence,

But has given his bread to the hungry,

And covered the naked with clothing,

If he has not exacted usury,

Nor taken any increase,

But has withdrawn his hand from iniquity,

And executed true judgement between man and man,

I f he has walked in My statutes,

And kept My judgement faithfully,

           HE IS JUST ( ten commandments !!!)

Ezekiel 18: 20 The soul who sin shall die.

The son shall not bear the guilt of the father,

Nor the father bear the guilt of the son.

The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself,

And the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself.
